Thanks to all those kind helpers who put up the pens for the February show, and those who stayed behind afterwards to help take it all down and clear up.

What's On

April. Our next meeting is on Monday April 7th at 8pm.

This will be a "show and tell" evening where we will be encouraging people to bring along something poultry related that they think others would be interested in knowing about and spending a few minutes telling us about it. It could be a bird, your first prize card, a picture, basically anything that you really feel you would like to tells others about. It will be a great chance for any children out there to tell us oldies what enthuses them about their hobby.

About

Meetings are normally held the first Monday of the month at the Worplesdon Memorial Hall, on the A322 opposite the Worplesdon Place Hotel, Worplesdon, Guildford GU3 3RF.

Club nights start at 8pm and can be varied and fun with guest speakers, quizzes, box shows, youngstock assessment nights, and social evenings. A newsletter is produced quarterly. Membership is £5/yr Adults, £3/yr Juniors and OAPs.

New service for Surrey Poultry Society members! We now have a mailing list (Yahoo list) you can join. This has been set up to allow members of the club to talk to other members of Surrey Poultry Society and discuss chickens/shows/local feed merchants etc also to advertise sales and wants to other members.
